What is a guarantor?

1. A guarantor is someone who will be financially responsible to your lease agreement. Typically, a parent or guardian.
   


2. The guarantor must reside in the United States and have a social security number or valid ITIN number.
   

If you will not have a guarantor, choose "I will NOT have a guarantor". This option covers the following:

1. Applicants who will be financially responsible for their own lease and provide income information.
